Emerged from her home under Lake Iguaque with a small boy whom she later married and had 4 to 6 children with (sources vary) and thus started the human race.
Turned herself and her mate into dragons once the humans was was ready to live on their own. As dragons, then, they returned to the bottom of the lake.
