Dragon that lives in the deepest swamps and may have more than one head. Their homes are called "knucker holes" that emitted a luminescent vapor.

There are several stories on how the knucker in Lyminister (Sussex) was killed:
1. The King of Sussex offered his daughter in marriage to whomever could kill the dragon. A knight came along, killed it, and settled in the town.
2. Jim Pulk, a farmer's boy, baked a poisoned pie which he offered to the Knucker. Pulk died soon after, probably from the same poison.
3. (Combination of 1 and 2): Mayor of Arundel offered the reward and Jim Pottock killed the dragon with food (but Pottock did not die).
