  • Sometimes shown with one head, sometimes with a hundred, and some sources say it's the child of Typhon and Echidna and others of Phorcys.
  • Guarded Hera's golden apples in the Garden of Hesperides and was the son of Mother Earth.
  • Slain by Hercules as one of the 12 labors. (There are too many sources for Hercules, so if you want more info on him, search at will)
  • Was sent up into the sky by June as the constellation "Serpent"
  • Ladon may be an alternate name for Ismenos, from Thebes.
