Each of four brothers (a stargazer, a thief, a huntsman and a tailor) each play a part in the rescue of a princess from a fearsome dragon who took her prisoner. Afterwards, each claimed to have the best reason to be the princess's husband. Two solutions are prepared - first, that the princess be divided amongst the brothers and second, that the brothers each receive a portion of the kingdom instead of the princess.
