After eating fresh onions, a queen gives birth to twins: a lindorm and a baby boy. She threw the lindorm out the window and the boy grew into a handsome prince.

Years later the two met while the younger was in search of a wife. The lindorm told him he would not find one until the lindorm was married. So the search was on until a maiden was found and the lindorm properly married.

She shed her clothes and he his skin until he was revealed to be the handsomest man - and the true heir to the throne. They were married and lived happily ever after.
