Characteristics:
  • Loves to talk and will use spells to "insist" the visitors stay and chat
  • Not very good at conversation
  • Loves intense, dry heat
  • Very social and always has an opinion
  • Gets along with most of its neighbors
  • Enemies: Blues
  • Has a lot of information, but may require a bribe to get it
  • Dedicated parents
Habitat:
  • Arid climes, temperate and warm with sandy deserts
  • Drinks the morning dew for sustenance
  • Plains and underground
Physiology:
  • Breath weapon: cones of sleep, cloud of blistering heat, fear gas
  • Expressive lips
  • Headplate is smooth and metallic
  • Bladed chin horns that grow sharper with age
  • Wings and frills are edged with mottled green and grown darker with age
  • Tangy sandy or metallic odor
  • Scales are dull brown, and become more burnished with age
  • Can speak with animals freely
  • Immune to fire and heat
