Characteristics:
  • Hunters of the Underworld
  • Cunning and patient
  • Priorities are survival and love of hunting
  • Burrow and fight, changing forms frequently - including copying the enemy's form
  • Avoid confrontations with other dragons and do not fight or steal with others of their kind
Habitat:
  • Underdark
  • Loves to eat clams, fish, kuo-toa, and aboleth
Physiology:
  • Born maroon in color
  • Unable to change form at birth, but does grow into it
  • Breath weapon: cone of flesh-corrosive gas
  • Other forms can include giant winged worm or snake and a human (drow) form
  • Immune to extreme heat and cold
