Characteristics:
  • Clannish and selfish
  • Does not seek or welcome company
  • Enjoys the feel of wind and spray, but does not like water
  • Very unpredictable and erratic
  • Enemies: Bronze
  • Avoids combat when possible, but will trick and deceive foes before attacking.
  • Attacks with claws
  • Will pretend to surrender to buy time
  • Indifferent to causes and concerns of dragonkind, unless they are directly affected
  • Takes a long time to befriend, but when it happens, they'll be loyal for life
  • Indifferent parents - will abandon children
  • Enjoys sunning on the rocks
Habitat
  • Coastal regions in temperate climates
  • Lairs are below the waterline, but kept completely dry
  • Eats aquatic animals, especially giant squid
Physiology:
  • Scales are dull yellow at birth but harden and become translucent and faceted with age
  • Breath weapon: cone of dehydration
  • Can breath water
  • Immune to cold at birth
