Characteristics:
  • Solitary and secretive
  • Combat: mislead, misdirect, distract, and ambush first
  • No interest in other creatures, except for food
  • Very territorial
  • Mother raises young, but will not actively protect it from predators
  • Enemies: Brass

Habitat:

  • Deserts of sandy desolation.  Loves daytime temperatures, but can handle nighttime cold.
  • Prefers to eat fresh meat, especially humans, demi-humans, and unhatched brass eggs.

Physiology:

  • Scales are soft, tan at birth, and get harder and lighter with age. Also, scales have a dusty texture which does not reflect light.  No part of the body is reflective, including teeth.
  • Breath weapon: high-velocity blast of scorching air mixed with sand
  • Immune to fire and heat
  • Can cast silence
